We approached CECUM to develop a single use biodegradable substrate for our vertical farms located across Canada. Not only did CECUM produce a product that was superior to our existing substrate, exceeding our benchmarks, it was also produced using Canadian hemp fiber and manufactured in Canada reducing our carbon footprint. As a proud Canadian company this supported our ESG framework.
