CECUM Technologies
CECUM Technologies pronounced ''SEEK-UM'' gets its namesake because it uses the same process as rabbits to break down biomass into sugar.
Our Story
The Original Idea
The original idea was simple... Deconstruct the industrial hemp plant into fiber, fuel & food in one economical process.
Product Development
In 2018, CECUM started its journey researching & testing processes for each of the 3 core components - fiber, lignin & C-6 cellulose. In 2024, CECUM commercialized its first range of fiber products.
Today
Today CECUM works with industry leading companies developing sustainable and biodegradable fiber based products and biobased intermediate chemical inputs derived from C-6 fermentation.
Mission Statement
''To transform industrial hemp into food, fiber & fuel, the building blocks for a bio-renewable future, while combatting global warming, improving soil health and reducing plastic pollution.''
