Custom Product Design for GoodLeaf Farms - Develop a hemp fiber based growing medium for vertical farm cultivation of micro greens.Product development:
CECUM and GoodLeaf worked together developing a replacement single use growing medium for the cultivation of micro greens in their vertical farms located across Canada.
CECUM was responsible for product development and GoodLeaf was responsible for in house testing.
Working with the real time data from GoodLeaf, CECUM adjusted the blending formulas and machine settings to develop the ideal cost + performance replacement growing medium.
The result - Every time GoodLeaf consumes a unit of CECUM growing medium they are responsible for capturing 1.3 grams of carbon dioxide from the environment.
